Loot Box Odds

139 items in the boxes

Posy has three loot boxes: Petal Box, Moon Box, Sun Box. They are bought with coins you earn by playing. Boxes cannot be bought with real money. The odds below are the exact numbers the game uses, and they are also shown in the app on each box before you open it.

How a box is rolled

  1. Each box rolls a rarity first, using the percentages above.
  2. Then it picks an item of that rarity at random. Every item you do not own has the same chance. Items you own are skipped.
  3. If you own every item of the rarity rolled, you get coins instead: Common 250, Rare 800, Epic 2,500, Legendary 7,500.
  4. Every box also pays hints and lives on top of the item or the coins, picked at random, every number in the range equally likely: Petal Box 1–3 hints and 1–2 lives, Moon Box 2–5 hints and 1–3 lives, Sun Box 4–8 hints and 2–5 lives.
  5. Epic or better is guaranteed at least every 20 boxes, counted across all box types. On that box only Epic and Legendary can roll, in the same proportion as the box's own Epic and Legendary odds.
  6. Boxes cost coins only. There is no real-money purchase of boxes.

The guaranteed Epic or better counter is saved with your progress, and it carries across all three boxes. It restarts after any Epic or Legendary, whether it came from the guarantee or from luck. The guarantee comes at the latest on box number 20 since your last Epic or better.

Petal Box

Costs 2,000 coins. Common 72%, Rare 23%, Epic 4.25%, Legendary 0.75%.

Costs 5,000 coins. Common 35%, Rare 45%, Epic 15%, Legendary 5%.
